Zahra Ketoun is a hearing Moroccan polyglot and a Ph.D. student at the Critical Studies in Education of the Deaf with a focus on International Deaf Education at Gallaudet University.
I'm interested in researching Universal Design for Learning applications in teacher training for teachers of the Deaf in Morocco specifically.
Although UDL is not a quick fix for inclusive education as many believe, it is a framework that can provide an equitable inclusive accessible education for teachers and students.
This Advocacy resource file is for anyone interested in learning about UDL in general or in the MENA region in specific. This is not a perfect -all-in-all- resource, this is more of a beginning to start a discussion with you, teachers, policymakers, government, and non-government agencies interested in adopting this framework in their projects.
This space is created to provide safe and critical discussions related to UDL and inclusive education in the MENA region.
